Had a whale of a time, apart from my faithful old Transit shitting it's gearbox out on the way to Liverpool. Had to hire a Transit tipper while I was in the IOM & get recovered from Liverpool home.

But this says it all

Oh & by the way I was absolutely stuffed by Adam on Day 1 & 2 but managed to regain a bit of pride on day 3 with a win by the tiniest .25 of a second.

If Adam had been running in the under 2 litre class, he would have won the class & set 2 class records

Can't wait for Blyton then Harewood!

I heard that Mervyn Johnston had a big crash in his Midas on the Manx!! Wishing him all the best in his recovery.

Yes Mervyn did have a pretty bad off. I saw him on the day & he looked a bit wobbly. Subsequently he has spoken to Rich & despite having cracked / broken a vertebrae in his back he is well on the way to a full recovery!
