Were they solid gold with gudgen pins made of diamonds
speaking of gudgeon pins..

Once a pin has become slack in the little end, is there any remedy?? I know you can bush some of them depending on the amount of meat around the end.
A heavily lightened and polished rod may be a problem though?

Yes they can be bushed , depending on how much metal is round the little end .

All the cast omega pistons are now supplied ready to take circlips for fully floating pins .

MED also sell a special forged omega with a smaller pin , you just push the supplied bushes in to the little end.

Press fit pins are really a thing of the past now , fully floating pins with round section circlips are the way to go .

Swiftune don,t use press fit pins in anything

Press fit pins were always a pain in the arse, fully floating pins with bushes were the norm in the vast majority of british motorcycles for donkeys years together with this 'new fangled' thing call sequential gearboxes.....

the next batch of 21253 / 21251 / probably all mini pistons made by nural will not feature the arrow. even though its a required standard marking we have had it removed to prevent confusion - i did try to get it replaced with a logo of my choice, but no dice!

what a coincidence Rich, a friend of mine at Nurals just sent me this picture that someone had enquired to have machined in a piston:
