This project has been under wraps for a long time but I can now finally reveal it!

The recent rise of the 1275GT caught me and my buddy, Paul Hickey from Hickey Race Engineering, up with it and this is what we've been working on.

Assembly is starting very soon so will update this thread regularly, but you can catch up on the full story so far over here:

Fab Neil, a lot of the 1275 GT pics on your website where taken by myself as a teenager at Oulton Park, i'm glad they helped to build up a picture of the cars from the late 70s

@wantafaster1 - Glad you enjoyed it! Will have another progress update by the weekend I hope.

@Jebo - Yes it's Flame Red! We had trouble identifying the exact original colour so went with a period correct GT colour.

@Pete - Cheers Pete! We're not 'chequebook racers' so will be limited in the number of events we enter, but are hoping to race it in the UK/Europe at least twice a year as well as at a couple of events over here too.

@billycooper - Wow, great link Steve! And thanks for taking the photos when you did too!
