ANy chance of finding a custom made grille chrome button?
Can I use th erocker cover screw , weld the bar and chrome it?

I am fairly certain that the grille buttons used on these cars were the Paddy Hopkirk ones.
I can send you a pic if needs be.

Hi Al,
The early cars used a 'workshop' made part. But after about 1964 it looks like a 'shop' bought item. The GPH pic' on this thread does look like the 'Paddy' product.

All looking great, I always thought it was interesting that GPH 1C (cough) still shows up as not having been exported on the DVLA site, surely no one (again there seems to be something in my throat) would ever keep the log book and try to make another one

I would rather keep an exact replica and use it hard other than selling log book works!
Its my dream Mini racer as it is as close to a street car as possible!
