Think your right, they probably made him a slightly over the starting bid, and he thought it was a good price.

i saw them, the bloke only lives 15 miles away from me, i did email him to see if he would sell them off ebay but he said he has already had a offer of £150
i also seen some NOS 5 bolt bumpers i post them up as i know there are people out there looking for them, its only 1 and started at £100

Tend to agree, they look like they could have been a real bargain. But when you can get new ones for sensible money now I doubt I would have bothered getting them myself.

No doubt some pillock e-mailed him & said "Oh you don't want to list them like that, they are really rare & sought after original Cooper Car Co Rosepetal wheels, list them like this & you'll get fifty times as much for them".
What is the point?
I thought the whole reason people go on ebay is to find a little bargain.
Not that you find many on there nowadays!
