So this does not get passed over I have changed the thread title.

Yes a good day at Donington. Tim did what is becoming normal practice and uses the qualifying as a test session! There were various small problems with the ignition, a loose lead to the coil being one of them.

Great but slightly challenging day out. Bit of a gearbox , engine rebuild coming up and can't do the HSCC finals this weekend as a result

Bit of a thrilling moment when Mr Take That chucked his Cortina off in front of Nick Paddy and me. He's a proper charger though and fought back to finish in front of me . (Close blatant name-dropping mode..)
