By the way folks, haven't a clue where they'll be parking you all up, just follow your nose you might be able to find each other's cars!? I'm taking my Unipower, there's a seperate bit for old race cars that competed at Oulton and I have no idea where that is either. Good old MSV. . Really looking forward to it though, might well be there Sunday aswell to to catch the GT races.

Great weekend at Oulton, especially today. Nice to see all the lads again and really hope Gary Warburton makes a swift and full recovery after his sickening accident. Loads of banter in the paddock, some great racing, sun was out, what's not to like? Jonathan Lewis broke the lap record for App K, won the class in both races, Middlehurst got a poor start in the 2nd race otherwise he'd have challenged him I think. Tim learnt to fasten his dizzy cap properly (the hard way), Colin Flynn turned 80 years young(!) and must have been racing Minis for fifty of 'em, Ken Heywood told me all about his exploits in Minis, his GTM and his Trickett Minisprint racer,Will Dick, Bob Fox, Mike Smith and the lads and even Fitz turned up. Top weekend!

Thanks to the lads that did make it, it's a great event isn't it? I think it's a shame they've taken historic rally cars off the little rally stage though. I'm going to have to have a word!!
