Blyton Park Sprint This Sunday - £125
Anyone interested in doing a Sprint at Blyton this Sunday?
The entry form is:
https://www.midlandautomobileclub.co.uk/events/enter/
Pete & I are both entering in Class C1, along with Bill & Mark Needham.
Supplementary regs attached.
Could be a good day fun at a reasonable cost.

Don't worry about which club you're in, it's really no biggy, I told her Tesco and she was fine with that.
I've just got the small matter of a cylinder head / gasket diagnosis and hopefully will be good to go. Hopefully!! So fingers crossed.
Aiming to stay over Saturday night, I'll scope that out, especially since the camping money collection drama fiasco storm in a tea cup we had last time. Should be fine though. I hope that spaceframe Audi TT breaks, one of us could be in with a chance of a pot!

Front driveshaft gone on the Landy..so no towing vehicle. if I get time to fix it before last entries on Thursday then I'm in with a bit of luck.

she would have got stuck on the A64, its easy to miss the York turn off as it has that strange slip road / roundabout thing that spits you onto the Scarborough road if your not paying attention!goff wrote:

Re: Blyton Park Sprint This Sunday - £125
Well, after inviting Mark out for the day it's actually me that won't be able to go to Blyton as my engine is still letting water into the pots . It pulled well on the rollers last week but went fluffy at the top of the rev range so we pulled the plugs and No.1 was steaming. Right we thought, head gasket. The head was pulled off and revealed pretty corroded waterways but with a new turbo gasket the seal looked good. Head back on, comp test was fine but when fired up the same thing's happened on No.4 now so back to the drawing board. Grrrrrrr!

I reckon he'd probably bite the end off & swallow it too.
