Re: Just a nice periode picture
I can't find Schnabel in any of the lists for the 68 European Championship.
Re: Just a nice periode picture
Try Johann Schnabl, lots of results turn up, here's just one with the car number 16, 1969 ETCC Preis von Wien, Flugplatz Aspern, Vienna, Austria
http://www.touringcarracing.net/Races/1 ... spern.html
Schnabl had his own race team which carried on into the 1970's with a Mini Cooper and a Ford Escort
Entry list from same race shows Harry Ratcliffe driving the VITA Mini (Car 45)

Re: Just a nice periode picture
Well found!
I didn't look at the 69 list as I didn't think that Vita ran in 69, but they did do "selected races".

Not just a static picture from a Mk1 but with action aswell
I like that kind of periodic pictures, that's why I did show it to you.

Re: Just a nice periode picture
Thanks Kees, I always prefer pictures that depict people than cars. A picture of a car means very little to me, but the one above speaks like a book.

Re: Just a nice periode picture
i was hoping someone would get the joke
people who live on the east coast of Yorkshire call people who live in west Yorkshire 'comfets'
for the reason that many of them have static caravans in the holiday parks and in the early 1990s (when I was young) would arrive enmass every weekend in as they had 'comfet weekend'
