At that time it was a very original Surf Blue/OEW Austin Cooper S on 3½" rims, the only mod was a bucket seat for the driver but the original was in the car. Price was around £795.

Next time I saw it, it had become the full Group 2 works replica.

I think EWK was sold at a Race Retro auction about eight or nine years ago.
just think simon, I bet you could have knocked the seller down to 750......

...... found its last sale on a Bonham's website from Feb 2006 when it sold for £24150 and the seller was listed
as being the David Sutton Motorsport Collection..... ( and sold at Stoneleigh were I photographed it starting the topic ! )

Auction notes Tom Seal sold it in 1992.

Great inputs with values on its history from early 80's to 2006 - being £795 with a genuine warm Coventry City pie thrown in
to the deal to just over £24k .... and 10 years on ???

There's an interesting article, with great pics in this months Cooperworld about the car built by Tom Seal for Timo's 1991 historic events.

Hey - another one - so which one is the real ringer , is the current ringer a rung version of that ringer or is that ringer the real version of the current ringer , or are they both ding dong versions of a discarded works back end - that 3 BJBs now - very confusing

Will the real BJB please stand up
