What were the original possible bi tone color on Radford in 1966 on the GT De Ville Model ?
What were the holes in the top of the roof near the hatchback for on the right and left ? (I suppose the centre one was for a speaker) ?
Were they speakers in the companions boxes at the rear of the car ?
Could the Astrali wheels be the genuine Radford Gt wheels ?

Wow fantastic another one survives, sorry I'm away in the UK today but back tomorrow. I own the sister Hatchback to this one that also went to France. I also own the one in the mag that you have shown with your H.Cert. Looks like you have all the important parts! I have Radfords colour cards to help you with colours etc. Mine was also Green/OEW. Internet is bad so I'll be back tomorrow. But fantastic news!

To date we have evidence of 9 Radford Hatchbacks built to this design and know the whereabouts of 8 of them, 5 RHD and 3 LHD. We call this type of HB the Standard Steel HB as there was a few prototypes built before they were happy with the design. After this style of HB the Ali door was introduced and then the Fibreglass door. There is 3 owners on here with this style of HB. Myself Nev (nevsmini) Peter (Pete) and Brian (Bri Mk1). Your car would be last Std steel HB that we have records of, which helps us to fill up a gap in the time line. You should have a 4 digit Job number found on the back of some of your Radford parts which would be really cool to find. Below is my Job number found on the back of the boot board and interior panel on my Std Steel HB.

Yes very similar to mine, same steel hatch, same trim colour and black body colour. Mine also has the overhead speaker panel at the rear but mine's RHD and about 8 months older than this one. The body on mine has suffered alot less from rust than yours but your trim looks to have survived very well considering and looks to be in better shape than mine !

Do you have the speakers in the rear pockets? Has your roof skin cracked at the corners of the sun roof hole?
