Yep I can confirm that the car rallied in wales in the 70's was indeed the antelope car.

People forgot to mention that Phil cooper who bought it off the works painted it red/black. On some of the blue car photos, you can see the red stone chipped off the front panel showing red underneath.

Ps. The car still has the front wings cut back for 12" wheels.

Yeah that Phil Cooper, he had a clutch of works Minis off Abingdon. Last time I spoke to him he said he wouldn't be bringing XJB 308H out to play anymore since he showed it on a special competition Mini display at Race Retro in 2009 and some parts were nicked off it! :shock: He wasn't a happy bunny!

Thanks for the update ref the antelope car. Not good about bits being nicked though.
