Lol don't think so. I might enter next year. Hillclimbs are over to quick for my liking.

This year I'd be happy to get my dad over the start /finish line after doing his knee in at Byton :(

Pressures on Murf to keep the trophy in Cumbria :D

Wasn't there a Japanese maniac racer (Monster someoneorother) who always claimed "Real men race downhill".... Going fast uphill is much easier....

Cheers, Ian

Shelsley Walsh that was mentioned here is a very fast Hillclimb - quick a mini will do this in the mid 30 seconds if you come unstuck you do so in a big way it has a section that is technical but the rest is how brave you can be - Iconic venue with great atmosphere and lots of sectators.
Prescott is technical and Loton Park has simular qualities but longer and a flat out straight section.
Harewood is a super venue with a variety of track and a blast between farm buildings that's fun then a tricky final bend to the finish, great for spectators as one of the few Hillclimbs you can see everything. There are some great other venues as well.

Hillclimbing is a strange business, the better you are the less time you will be in the driving seat but believe me it is exciting when you get it right, it's like going out each time to do a qualifing lap - every single part of the track needs to be pushed to the limit, every gear change or lift-off will effect those 100's of a second that may win or lose you a place then it may be an hour or so before you get your next run and the conditions will have changed so there is no reference to use from the last run - so it is never as boring as it may seem
