Hi all, on this new site would it be possible to have a section just for photos, maybe in categories ie mk1 cooper van moke etc etc, maybe for reference sections, engine bay shots trim etc etc, plus we all like to see pics dont we. just a thought?

Yes, great idea. I am trying to fathom out where the large Mk 1 heater air intake runs to at the moment and cannot find anything on line to refer back to. I can see it enters the bulkhead above tower subframe mount but can't figure is there should be a link pipe from this to the heater?

The course is pretty self evident, it goes through the hole in the bulkhead, through the hole in the parcel shelf and makes a B line towards the heater inlet across the top of the pedals. It is held in place by a very large steel jubilee TYPE clip.
