can i ask where those number plates are from?
I had them sent with the backing drilled but letters not fitted, so I could paint them a shade more yellowed. Then use the backing supplyed to drill a nos ACE plate.

Re: KNU 226D mk1 cooper s
good point ....did find it very close , but the tube/bolt on the back of the 576 lamps can be cut down by an inch or so to give a reasonable clearance.970s wrote:Very tidy engine bay! Nice piece of arts!

I cut half inch off the bolt to give more clearance in case the vibration of engine may damage the wires at the back and possible of short circuit of the live wire!

no plans to show it as yet, ....every year around summer time my projects seem to get put on hold as other interest take over.
will have to see about taking it somewhere when it is finished, hopefully this year

I know the feeling! My car needs desperate work done to it, but I've resorted to using it this Summer and hopefully I can find a unit over winter to do some much needed subframe dropping & sorting!Nick W wrote: hi Doug

Would love to see the car, so hopefully see you at some shows - probably next year!
All the best.
