Good to see John Milicevic has returned, he should have a good dice with Barry Sime. All we need now is for Tim to get his entry in.
Barring heavy rain I will probably be there snapping away.

Sorry no
Decided to give it all up and do something quieter. Car for sale and looking for project that would suit an old duffer

Harrumph!
It's been three years since I first asked for race number 20 and was told, "You can't have that one. That's Jack's* number and he'll be out at the next meeting!"
Hasn't showed yet though.....

Re: HSCC season opener Donington Park April 8th.
Enjoyed it yesterday, shame Milicevic pulled out of the meeting as I'm sure Barry Sime was looking forward to some competition and John Marsden cried off with Man-flu. Two more retirements before the race even started when an Imp smacked one of the Anglias up the arse during qualy , Bullen didn't manage one race lap so the field was pretty depleated. Very tidy drive by Barry Sime to net him his class win and 7th O/A, way ahead of the next Mini of Godfrey. Enjoyed the other races despite a couple of bizarre safety car blunders which confused the hell out of everybody. Great commentary as usual by Marcus Pye.

Yes shame about the pull outs.
That safety car really did have a blunder but then the both of them deciding themselves to come back through the pack! Only to be excluded for it.
The recovery lifter driver then had a blunder in the Guards Trophy not lowering his jib and nearly destroying the back of the Chevron as the towing eye is right under the car he nearly ripped the body apart with the strap!
Good day overall.
