Well thanks for the nice comments, chaps. I've still got a few things to do to finish it off. Luckily, I had a couple of period bits that I had left over when building another car a few years ago which came in handy. The Mory blind was a lucky find but I have yet to figure out how the Bowden cable is sited. The chain operated rad blind was only fitted onto some early works 850's and 997 coopers I believe.

Definitely the BMW MINI outside, as apart from anything else it wont react to the rain and other adverse weather conditions like the Mini will

Thanks Nick . The 4 switches above the switch panel are map lamp pull switch, rheostat for heater , o/s fog p/switch n/s fog p/switch. The 2 to the left of the panel are both rheostats one working drivers instruments the other to regulate p lights on clocks, rev counter etc . Cheers Richard
