Harewood - June 3rd - Class C19

the entry list is open for the excellent C19 class at harewood hillclimb

June the 3rd is the date for your diary

a great day, either to compete or just to come and watch some of the amazing vintage machines competing.

the C19 class is 'road going' so no need for any of the normal safety requirements, so a perfect day out competing in a standard or otherwise car

as a driver you will need a speed b licence, Yorkshire BARC membership AND (TAKE NOTE NICK W) a legal helmet (not something that a papa johns pizza delivery driver wears), legal overalls, legal boots, and maybe gloves.

a CRACKING day out.

the rules for class C19 is pre 1972 road going, but as last year it was all minis I guess that a 'blind eye' might be turned to newer cars, wrong tyres etc as long as they are not taking the piss

you have to register first, then click on the on line entries bit

I had trouble too , but emailed Jackie and got a reply as below

"The payment system has taken payment just not done the final stage and generated an entry. Leave it with me and I will come back to you if I need to do anything"

Tried to register a couple of times and not managed, so sent Jackie an e- mail.
Just had a response to say that they're having problems and try again in another few days.

ive just had an email from Jackie saying that the on-line system is now working and everyone should have been emailed, so I guess if you don't get the email you should contact her!

I've entered - My first ever hillclimb! Something I've always wanted to do.

Just need to put the car back together and get myself a fireproof outfit!

Also booked a driving school day at Shelsley Walsh so that I might have a bit of an idea what to expect.

Really looking forward to it!

Well done Luke, so that's half a dozen + now.

Just working out which other events I want to do this year. Ingliston Revival sprint and Shelsley Classic are definately high on the list, definately Prescott and maybe Crystal Palace in August.
