Peter Robinson's final book on the Motoring News Rally Championship, "The Beginning", is available this month, covering 1961-65.
A likely source of information on rally Minis from the days when at that level a registration number usually meant an original car rather than a log book.

Afraid that's what it takes to publish low volume these days. He makes no profit I understand. I've had ten times the value out of his earlier books (1966-69 particularly) than some of the thin dross from elsewhere sold and acclaimed as great books.Pete wrote:How much is it? Don Barrow confirmed mine as on its way this morning. (Peter only seems to use Paypal for direct sales, hence Don as an agent)

Fell free Goff! I know what you mean Steve, lots of work goes into reference books like this and it's obviously a gamble to pitch 'em at £50 knowing only the real enthusiast will buy it or say £30 and shift a few more books!? I bought the first one, not read the second one yet though, cos I'm too tight!goff wrote:Shall we all have a whip round for PetePete wrote:How much is it?
