Agree that 1275GT is good value .. look in that same ACA Auction there is a 1964 Cooper "S" ( Lot no 187) ..£25 to £35 estimate.. If i was intending to buy that bitsa.. I would list all the loose spares before they get nicked before the auction !

Having once been to the ACA at Kings Lynn and seeing some of the clientele there, I think that would be a good idea

Selling a complete car there would be unnerving if you cared about the car.

They do achieve some good prices though.

I sold a "120"mph ( they are actually 130 ) a couple of years ago for $100. Didn't realize they were a bit more sought after....I was very surprised at how quickly it sold. Odo was even working well

There are 120 dead's and 120 / 130's (extra lines after the 120 V's none), lots of 63 / 64 S's have the 120 dead's

I think he means special early one with no seam covers...

Apart from the physical damage (forklift ?) it actually looks more solid than mine !

It can't be that early, it's a hydro car, so must be later than 64.

Isn't it one of the works cars with the experimental internal exhaust to prevent damage on a rally stage?

The doors on this van are amazing! Never seen anything like it...

I'd also insist the doors are hung and the bootlid bolted on to see if they fit! Nice bit of overspray on the front suspension, and snotty underside/floor finish doesn't inspire confidence!

Amongst all of the £1000 cooper s speedometers, £500 washer bottles and other madness, here is a little glint of sense.

Ha! Too true - something of an elastoplast that. I feel some sculpturing was planned by the culprit..
