The truth is that original Alexander knobs were plastic with a clear perspex window in the top.

Its a fake. The numbers are wrong, probably one of those stickers that used to be sold on ebay.

Yep suspiciously cheap and a total fake as I suspect the seller knows. It's a sticker.

That's what I was thinking Callum.

Whether the heater itself is the same I'm not sure but the ears are definitely wrong.

Yes, Minor 1000 Andrew. They are basically the same heater although the ears are quite different. It is the Mini ears which are hard to obtain.... That is a mad price! That seller is a bit "inventive" if I may say so. I bought something from him which was not quite what he suggested :x
