That was listed last week and did not reach reserve. It is a rare piece though.

Ha, ha, the reference to the stuckers is hysterical, but the car looks nice all be it stupidly expensive.

a 1967 997cc...................

I thing that its a grade 3.5, just think, if it had been painted the correct green and the door pockets where not still showing signs of grey primer it could have made it to a 4.0.............

what a load of dealer bollocks!

The owner of this Mini engined 1960 Berkley T60 three-wheeler bought at a Brooklands auction back in 2013, is planning to fit a 1380cc engine soon, having previously owned one that was lost in an accident in 2004.....

what the hell does "hand sourced" mean?

and I take offence to...."usual Mk1 spec 997cc". No 997 is ever "usual"!!

I remember seeing at the British mini showdown a few years back now.
A four wheeler Berkley, with an 850cc turbocharged a series running on methanol. It was hand (brush) painted white with red stripes, but it ran a 13.9second quarter mile.
I know there's not much weight there but I was impressed.

;) Those "original" Downton stickers are from the '90 so NOT Daniël Richmond one's.
They had no stickers, only the badge on the rocker cover and boot !

Not correct.

The repros I do are copied directly from a Downton sticker I found in a Racing car Show program.

Crikey - I know they have not been remade but are folks really getting £80 for a non-Cooper rear Mk2 Austin badge or just chancing the market? Same with the front badge. Given how easy they are to remove, rather worrying for any owners out there?
