Portugal was a racing paradise for many years, since the early days there was all kind of racings from Town Circuits, to Estoril GP from several Rallys including WRC that had a diferent design back in the days. It´s impossible to talk about racing in Portugal without talking about the Cooper S , in fact many of those "litle bastards" came to Portugal, and made the life of those "Big Bee´s" like RS´s RSR´s GTA´s for not naming the brands
a lot more dificult, So there is a really big passion for minis in Portugal. I just leave you here some pictures, of racing from the 60´s /70´s , and remember they all raced together even with diferent class´s like up to 1.3 or up to 2.0 or more than 2.0, they all race together, of course the 1.3 division had allways the same winner the funny was that the mini many times was just among the big(strongest) cars in the end.
