Re: Racing with the BRSCC 1967.
If you don't blink you'll see my Unipower GT (when it was white) go past the commentary box at Castle Combe at 6.09 chasing what looks like a Costin Nathan and a white Camaro. Must have been early June '67, and the bits of film either side of Gabriel Konig crashing have been spliced in cos they're not in the same race!steve65 wrote:Part 2 https://youtu.be/xgYBzWW4SV4
Great those films aren't they.

Great images in the Part2 film.
Looks like CUY 6B chasing for the lead up Clay Hill?
Would be interesting to know if the car is likely to be seen on track again or at an event?

Really?
I will certainly make the trip then.
Strong family connection with the car.
Cheers

Pass my regards on to Stuart if you see him. I spent an interesting couple of hours with him about eighteen months ago, very enlightening!Rich997 wrote:Really?

Keep meaning to let him take it out for a blast as he's only 20 mins away.

Re: Racing with the BRSCC 1967.
Shall do, I know he will be intrigued to know how it turned out.
The image I have is of the car in its competitive days i.e. Green with distinctive yellow front panel.
Presumably it doesn't look at all like that now, but certainly would turn a few heads if it were storming round Oldham and Shaw 'on test'.
While battling on the track with the well funded opposition (Vita) I know he had to develop the car extensively, often to great effect. Clearly you know how successful he was.
If you are out with the car at Blyton or elsewhere, please let me know.
Thanks very much for the comment.
Cheers
