Re: seat belts
should be ok if you buy the right units. the reel goes on the sill so you need a unit which has the mount at the bottom, and the upper mount is there on the pillar all but the early cars - from about '62, I think

Re: seat belts
My 62 has 2 holes drilled through each B post to mount the top of the belt
and its only a diagonal with no lap strap.Mini inertias don't fit as the companion
box forces it to fit and interfere with the glovebox on the door

Re: seat belts
I have fitted a number of sets of these. You can mount the innertia box to the floor, it just doesn't fit in very tidily, as it has to be mounted level, but as long as you don't regularly carry passengers in the back this isn't an issue.

Re: seat belts
Hi,
I'm looking to fit Inertia reel belts to my wife's 66 Austin Super-Deluxe.
Does anyone have any pics of a Mk1 with period-ish style inertia belts fitted? I'm thinking of buying these and peeling off the Wolfsburg symbol:

I'd like to see what I'm in for before attempting this. At the moment it has yucky static belts from a Toyota fitted to keep it legal.
Thanks,
Brett
