Phew wot a Scorcher!

That smash looks nasty. By the looks of it, it appears Benoy went off on his own, t-boning the Mustang and then collecting the unlucky Cortina. I bet he was glad to have a HANS on, as his head looks like it took a bit of a shake.

As usual the racing was great, watching the cars turn into Lodge during the afternoon race was great. I also got to see the little skirmish between Colin and Rich.

I've had a quick scan through my pictures and edited a few. I might do the rest but as I am busy these days it may take a while.

Great pics Stu. Thanks for sharing.
It's fair to say Mr owens isn't too happy with the antics of a certain Anglia driver.
Nice to see him celebrating with a glass of "Iced tea". :D

Last thing I heard over the tanoy as I got into to my car to leave was a call for Mr Bullen to report to race control. I have feeling he did not hear it as me and Rich passed him coming out of one of the lanes near the circuit.

Tim did a similar thing last year in the wet when running some old tyres on the back. Also went off soon after as the tyres were still very dirty!

PS I might have some of Tims footage from this post up in the next few days

That ratty Mk10 was great and the interior had a strong whiff of originality.

PS Thanks for posting the pics. I was a bit lazy and did not take many paddock or display ones.

If you look at the slowed down part of my backwards bit , you can see the right hand front sliding window opens and the mirror got knocked off and came inside the car and got put back on.

Blyton this year the left hand mirror just came off and disappeared without trace.

When you got to go , you got to go.

Looks like Simon Benoy got pushed out on to the grass which caused him to spin. Nasty impact from behind
