First run out for Steve Maxted. It also shows what LLandow is like. Have posted it on the Blyton thread to interest some of us in this neck of the woods to think about going there. It's dead cheap

A great days racing today at Oulton, good to see Rich back behind the steering wheel of his racing car on a circuit as well. Tim a pleasure as always. Andy H, I went looking for you a few times but couldn't find you, I did enjoy your racing though and seeing you fighting with the wheel exiting lodge.

I took Mrs Kidd along showing evidence of my absence recently...

Whilst watching the last race and seeing Rich giving it beans with all 4 wheels on the grass exiting lodge, Mrs Kidd held her bump and said her heart started racing and that she was worried you'd crash Rich! Luckily the baby wasn't born at Oulton Park and we made it home.

i had a great weekend, fantastic weather and a really good crowd of racers and people

there was some cracking cars in the 'classics car park' and some quite interesting stuff if the ww2 display, that german halftrack was great

the first race was pretty epic thanks to the HUGE crash just after the first bend on the first lap, we all came tonking round the bend flat out and saw the smoke and everyone just anchored on and took to the grass either on the left or the right!, it was like someone had laid a autojumble stand out on the track as there was so much stuff on the track!

I'm sure some photos will appear, but it was pretty epic, there was a very badly damaged imp and a lotus Cortina with its entire lh front suspension missing / bent

after the restart I spent the entire race chasing a bloke in a imp, I just couldn't catch him though

we all got weighed when we came back in and I got busted for been 11kg underweight! opps!

the second race was pretty good as four of us in minis had two or three laps having a good dice, colin put me on the grass, but there was no damage or contact between any of us, bar a bit of tyre rub on colins door

a good day out!

I do, however, need a 1293

I must try and add up what my motor cost but I think that nearer 2.7k would do it

Great day , great showing of small cars. Two unpleasant accidents but there were several others in various classes. Those pics are epic and shows my small excursion on the grass. I actually got to follow Endaf for about 30 seconds!

a funny thing I spotted whilst racing, you normally only ever hear about locals moaning about the noise at circuits, so it was cool to notice the people living at the house nearest to the circuit had enterprisingly constructed a small grandstand behind their garage complete with sunshades etc.

there was about 5-10 people watching and where waving and cheering as the cars went past

fair play I thought!
