You have to wonder how this got an MOT whilst still being registered with DVLA as a 998 ?!

It might be quick in a straight line but I sure would want to try to turn a corner in it

that's a handy item to own

if it has 'christine' powers that have enabled it to heal two stud holes up, it will be able to fix any cracks as well...............

With the special 1979 on floor pans cut to fit the 1969 tunnel and one of my personal buttons, the sodding GT badge in the wrong place on the grill even though there is a picture in the listing showing where it should be....

35 large indeed :? :?

I think this is the third time it has been listed, so clearly an absolute steal.... or not.....

This has been for sale for awhile. I'm curious what the seller would actually take. It was at $11k a few months ago.

I'm surprised there's no pictures of the pulse jets 20ft flames on the e bay ad. That would sell it to me if I had £38k

If it's a genuine S and the shell can be saved, then it will still be genuine S, surely :?

OK, its rough but is it beyond redemption ??

Or do you know something we don't Rich ?

I know nothing

any scruffy black mk1, be it a genuine cooper s, or a 850 has the opportunity to be turned into a priceless er' cooper s replica

the body work on this example looks perfect for it!

I'm sure someone will spoil it by actually doing it up properly - boooooo

If its a genuine S, how can it be turned into an 'er Cooper S replica ?

If you mean by reshelling it, then there's a hell of a lot of 'er Cooper S replicas about

If it is a pucker S and I see no reason why it couldn't be, lets hope the winner restores the shell rather than opting for an 850 shell (assuming it is the original one of course  ).
