My Grandad had a 1966 Singer Chamois (Brown!). Now a lot of people know that! :D

That's the biggest grid for the Touring cars this year. Will it rain and make it fun? We can only hope.

PS My Grandad had a Sunbeam Stiletto, white with a black vinyl top.

Good luck to Tim and Will
Shame I can't be there this year, looks like an awesome grid, last year was fantastic to watch.

p.s. my Grandad had a horse

Over a third of the grid in Minis, looks like it'll be a cracker.

Mission control has decided that we're coming down to watch this. Having never been before, where is the best place to watch the racing from?

Cheers,

Hi George, Oulton is one of the best circuits for spectators cos there's so little fencing and you can get very close to the track. If you want to see the white's of Rich's eyes  I'd head for the inside of 'Lodge' as it's as close as you can get to the track and you can see them exit the corner and go down Deer Leap and down the pit straight. The outside of that corner is also a belter as they have a little grandstand but if you don't want to pay a fiver to sit in it just stand next to it, you'll still be in a great spot! Anywhere on the hill overlooking Cascades is also a good spot as it overlooks knickerbrook aswell!

I'm a little p*ssed that I can't make it as it looks to be shaping up to be a cracker. Too many single seaters (no offence Andy! ) on the Monday for my liking though, all the sportscars and GP cars are on the Sunday.

Thanks Pete...sounds great.

Are the paddocks open to the general public, or do you need some sort of super duper access?

you can wander around the pits, though access to the pit garages in the pits my be limited dependant on how posh the people are who are using them.

in the normal pits access is pretty easy, some of the bigger teams with the plastic floors and the ropes don't want to know, but us normal people have no problems

Had confirmation that our possible Mini (Steve Maxted) is now entered

I just need to make sure I go out with the rest of them for practice

Last time I got a bit distracted
