Do you fancy it then Nev? I don't think this is the first time that unique collectors item has featured here is it?Nevsmini wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WOLSELEY-HORN ... SwdzVXreZl
What a shame it has yet to find an appreciative home.........

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
I daren't buy it Andrew. Nev's expressed interest and he's senior to me in the Coachbuilt Mini pecking order, so I have to pass on this particular gem of Mini customisation
HOW have they made the track so wide do you think? Hopefully not by spacers alone?
Sadly, because of the extra width, I don't think it would fit in my "Mini stable" anyway .......

I'd be more concerned about what Mrs Plant would say rather than upsetting Nev.
That is a wide track but is a lot of it in the wheels which look really strange.

They look like the true definition of reverse rims, like someone has mounted the wheels with the inner rim on the outside.Andrew1967 wrote:

I did the plymouth dakar rally in 03 and I have just come out of an abandoned mine with it's organiser.....we were discussing the possibility of going to south africa, buying a classic car, driving it home and flogging it and paying for the trip.
I have just been eyeing up the prices of various things and saw this and immediately thought to put it here.

I reckon that's been for sale for a long time on Car & Classic but advertised in Japan for about £17000?

Oh I don't know, if you read some of the fables in the Mini Mania adverts for cars, you start to question your own memory...Andrew1967 wrote: Probably the biggest load of bull**** I've ever read in an advert
A 1967 1275GT which looks for all the world like a 1973 one.
A 1967 Morris Mini Cooper 850 (Really, was there such a beast??????) which looks like an early 90's Cooper with a 998 A plus in it.
It is astonishing.....
