Bo'nes Hill Climb 3rd and 4th September
As in the title Bo'nes Hill Climb is on the 3rd and 4th of September.
The entry list is already at 85 and there will be a maximum limit. If its of interest have a think about it, but get your entry in soon, or there will be no space left.
At the moment 3 x minis and apx. 10 x MG Midgets are in class 5. The track has been changed this year, and more improvement's made around the site.
It would be great to see more minis. The entry is not strict as to the body of the car, just the age.

Re: Bo'nes Hill Climb 3rd and 4th September
The Bo’ness Speed Hillclimb continues to grow in popularity each year, with a great range of veteran, vintage, and classic vehicles taking active part.
There is an updated track layout this year, with a new corner and finishing straight. This means that the public car park will now be relocated to the area behind Kinneil House and spectators will no longer have to cross the track to enter the venue – result should be smoother running of the meeting with less delays.
The Classic Car Show has also grown over the past few years, and is expanding into a ‘Motoring Heritage Weekend’ with activities on the Saturday and Sunday. The emphasis will be in action and participation and it is hoped this will make the overall Bo’ness event more attractive to Motoring Heritage Weekend entrants. The location of the classic car show is also being changed to allow more cars to be displayed.

Looks like a good event but the hill seems a little short at about 30secs, I got the time from the in car footage of a Manta on YouTube

It's not the time that counts - it's the experience!JohnA wrote:Looks like a good event but the hill seems a little short at about 30secs, I got the time from the in car footage of a Manta on YouTube

I only mentioned my age at Harewood when Mark seemed surprised I was retired, I think maybe that was a mistake but I do share my birthday with Paddy Hopkirk
