OK always end up trying to work out the folowing after dis-assembling the rear brakes,
1. Which way up does the lever assy go in the brake , actuating lever at the top or bottom of the lever assy
2. Which way round does the shoe go, slotted end of shoe with actuating lever or the end of the shoe with the irregular shaped 'rounded ' hole next to the actuating lever ?
Hope the question is clear.

Re: Handbrake lever assembly
The "irregular shaped rounded hole" is next to the actuating lever..
As for which way up/around the levers go, I'll have to check in the morning.
The ale has taken effect now.

Re: Handbrake lever assembly
Head cleared at last.
The actuating lever is at the bottom of the lever assembly.
ie; short lever under the longer arm.
