What does the hive recommend for sound insulation these days? I was going to go for the brown fluffy stuff. I would like to put a pad up onto the roof skin for good measure as well.
Cheers - Chris.

Re: Sound Insulation advice
Dynamat is the stuff to use these days or if your as tight as me rubberised cork does a good job on the door skins and roof panel.
Stay away from the brown fluffy stuff as its a excellent way to hold condensation moisture which is why the corners of the roof can rot.

I used some correct Sound insulation for cars. It was a pleasure
Working with, and all parts fitted perfect after that.

Ah - there's the man
Your build is my reference thread while I put my car together.
Looks good, and Dynamat while excellent at its job is very heavy. I think I would like to go with the old fluffy stuff - it will give somebody something to moan about when my shell rots out again in 20 years time.
Can you tell me where you got your insulation from?
Cheers - Chris.
