Hmmm...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mk-1-Mini-She ... escription

Not being sold as such and vague as to whether you get the V5 identity but expect a few will be tempted.

All that needs is a tartan interior for that inverted Scotch Egg look!

I particularly like the way the inline fuel filter has been carefully hidden away

Maybe struggling on my back to hide it near the fuel pump on the subframe was not the way to go - talk about making life difficult for myself

I hadn't spotted that(!) but a more careful look also shows that it doesn't have the stainless steel wheelarch trims which I'd expect to see on a 1963 Hornet(?) or the upper door trims which certainly should be present. As Rich has pointed out, the colour scheme is a complete yoke!

Just hope it stays sunny side up Richard

There's certainly a lot wrong with it for fairly strong money for a Hornet.

Also comes complete with the wrong head lining, C pillar trims fitted by Stevie Wonder, and standard mini wheel trims.
Who ever 'restored' it must have used the cheapest panels they could get.
The A panel is not long enough so the door hinges are out of wack and the bottom of the door (which is bubbling on the front drivers side bottom corner) must touch the side trims every time you open in.
If that is an example of their work, I would not trust them with a B&Q wheel barrow....
