temp gauge

Post by mattyguk1 »

hi all, i fitted a recon head to my mk1 today and as the new head has the water temp sender hole ive decided to fit a gauge. my problem is where to fit the gauge? my mini is a 62 with the round speedo pod...so where do most people fit them? any suggestions or pictures would be good.

Don't forget you need the early moving coil gauge (easily distinguished by its 3 contacts on the back). A 62 mini won't have a voltage stabiliser.
