Looking at the numbers on the window and cars parked in the next field my suggestion is an autocross meeting.

It does look like Australia, and the badge on the A panel suggests its a Mini K 1100 - a 1969 or '70 model. K was for kangaroo which seems appropriate.

Quarterlights on the doors suggest it's Australia or south Africa? Looks like good fun wherever it is! Tim.

its the REDEX challenge in Australia, cant remember the year. i'll have to dig up the magazine article with this photo in it.
looks like '69-70 by the car, normal door handle (they had "flush door handles later) and K stickers on the A panel.

Yes, it does look like Aussie, the car looks like a mini "K", judging by the aussie doors and the badge on the A panel which is probably a mini K badge.
