Landar

Post by Pandora »

When I was in my very early teens and BMX bikes were all the rage, I remember this advert in magazines:

Am I right in assuming that this is the same Landar as made the Mk6 & 7 sports racing cars?

The location is about right, and the cars did come out of their bike business.

I have wondered the same as I keep an eye out for Landar info.

I know the name Landar came from a reversal of the Brothers surname, but was the family name Radnal as I have seen written, or perhaps more likely, Randall?

was it a direct reversal, or an abstraction?

It is indeed the same company Al.
Their family name was Radnall, and they were two brothers: Clive and Peter. Both are still around.
