Only one pic, but looks like a little beauty. I would drive it just like that. My kind of Mini

Lovely car, saw it close up a few years ago but the owner didn't think it was an original Radford when I spoke to him. The seats are pre '66 and all the trim had been painted green. Nice Mk2 Cooper + Radford trim doesn't necessarily really equal a Radford or £35K? However , as with many of these cars maybe it's got a hidden history somewhere, but I wouldn't gamble £35K before finding it!

No age, engine size or photos of the interior you do have to wonder if people actually want to sell something some days.

Wouldn't an S have a diagonal slam panel support? Maybe the early ones didn't.

rare to have the original panel anyway really, and could be a pre 66 build

Yes, the early ones are much thinner (grip-wise) with the rubber grip part being smooth and slides up and down the line.

Last NOS one I had made about £55 if I remember correctly.

Later ones have grooves around the handle part.

You can also get repro 1959 spec ones so would have to be careful when buying, but as above later ones also have grooves on the handle part,

That green s hasn't much of the original s left, but at least the seller is honest and not hiding anything, I have no idea how a 1965 s in an early shell and non s engine can be worth buying at much more than the current price,

I've endeavoured to be honest about it, can't quite believe what's happening myself. 99p to 10k in 6 hours. Sad to let it go but I've had to look at the realities of whether or not I'd ever be able to enjoy it in the way I used to enjoy it if I was ever to find the time to restore it myself.

That's the first one. That one does look like a real one at least (no offence Paul!). The value of these has gone through the roof and it seems project values specifically. I think the logbook on it's own is probably the bulk of the value and there's plenty still building cars from those!

I sold an original shell/engine/trim/etc '65 1275 S recently and I'm thinking I sold it too cheap!

Be interesting to see what a project goes for and how much difference in value there'll be between two very different cars. I doubt the non original one will be too much different and that buyers care a lot less about it than we think they do!
