More info on the Marcos/Checker Motors Mini Cooper S

http://www.crystalpalacefoundation.org. ... with-spice

That particular car has been doing the rounds trying to find a new keeper

My only worry is getting those twin carbs through an emissions test for a 1997 Mini.

Looks like a fake advert to me. If you check the sellers other cars for sale they are all pictured in different places. I am sure this person has links with another account based in Teeside, with similar adverts. They are phishing for emails and telephone numbers

Looks like the account has been hijacked.

Not been used for more than a year, previously selling baby clothes and stuff, never sold a car of any description...

Not sure about this shell, is it an automatic there is no hole for the gear lever:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-MK3-shel ... 1832983300

Do like this Innocenti:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Innocenti-Min ... 1832983300
Is it me or do the rear lights sit lower on the rear panel on Innocenti cars?

I'm not seeing much Mk 3 about that shell, square tunnel, later front subframe mounts, single cable handbrake etc.

Well it does hae a drip edge....and a rod change MkIII would have a square tunnel wouldn't it? Maybe a "crossover" year 75/6?
Seems to have an S front panel
