1275 GT Homologation sheet

Post by Astro »

Hello,

perhaps someone may help. I have got a copy of the FIA Homologation sheet 5405 and the last page is 28/12E. But there is another source claiming, that the last page should be 29/01ER1. Does anyone can clarify this?

Thank you very much!

Hi Astro,

I have both versions/papers;

- "5404-71" paper that is for group 1 and 2. This is 47 pages and the last page is amedment 28/12E covering 1.04 drop gears
- "5404-82" paper for Group A. This is only 16 pages in total. Last page is 29/01 ER and that is only a page that transfere/validate the original paper over to Group A. The last amendment to this paper is, as above, 28/12E dated 1980.

Added: I checked the Fia database and it confirm this; the '71 gr.1/2 paper has 28 extensions - the Gr.A paper has only 5.

Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Thanks a lot! Was just hoping to find something about SC drop gears. OK, it will do without.

The new french regulations became a bit crazy. That means, it will be more effective to run a group 1. That still means two HS4 or 6, a 300° cam, 37.6mm inlet valves in a nice Longman head, a LCB, a SC gearbox, a 4.3 final. Not bad :-) We tried this years final, and am just looking for the last (hopefully) problems.
