I am finishing up the body and paint portion of my restoration of my 1965 Mini Cooper S.
I am in need of 2 new petrol caps for the petrol tanks.
I believe the original caps were either chrome or stainless, NON vented and non locking. Trying to keep the car original looking.
My petrol tanks have the vents at the top of the tanks.
I have searched the Mini Spares and Somerford web sites but to no avail. Any other sites that I should look at?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Jim Knight

Re: MK 1 petrol caps needed
There is a company that sells MG petrol caps on E Bay...they look very similar......might be worth checking them out. I saw one and it looks darn close to the mini cap.
