They are too knackered even to stick a house pipe round!
I've got a 69 Mini with a 1046, Cooper Head and a four on the floor.

That's probably a couple of hundred overpriced. At auction I would estimate at £3-400 due to the amount of play wear. The box could well be worth more than the model.

Don't seem to be any brackets in the boot or any holes for them. Tis a hydro shell though.Charlynsane wrote:In the shed wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Morris-Mini-C ... Sw~bFWIRtx

There was a Spot-on Mini sold on Ebay in August for nearly 1000 pounds....Chewie Baker wrote:

Bloody Hell!
Toys / models is something I have never taken any notice of (apart from a small, cheap, battered collection of Dinkys) I had no idea that some of the models were quite so sought after.
As has already been said, it makes some of the full sized ones look cheap!

it is! Trailer available aswell! The epitome of club motorsport, like historic rallying, or Mighty Minis, everything that historic racing isn't - affordable!mk1 wrote:That Green Rally crosser is a bargain!
Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
I was going to bid on this today as the decorators van is a rare thing. The Royal Mail van is only worth £80-100.
Hammer price was £620, with buyers commission and VAT the total was just over £750. I didn't bid (my max was £300)

I'd give that an oily rag and keep it like that. I imagine it will be another "as left the factory" resto.
Shame about the sunroof and the new numberplates.

None of the above match the dash trim.
The 'sunroof' looks like a rear windscreen just stuck in....

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
They both look new, bought to make it look more complete I suppose. You get a feel for a car don't you, and the seats don't look anywhere near as tired as the rear arch trim. Usually a set of trim ages along with the seats as a set, and fade/wear together. I've sniffed a lot of brocade in my time and it does look like different pieces. No biggy but the thing I find odd is the bonnet badge arrangement, which are located wrongly, why would it have had a new bonnet? (Looks like it's had a wing though). Body number's there though so should be a pretty straight car.Nick W wrote:Is it me but don't the door cards look too fresh compared to the rest of it ....also the wheels?
