Well I have never seen a pedal extension fitted that way before but...

Might even be a Speedwell one....
This looks more like a mk2 with some S bits:

Quite a tidyish late mk1:

Difficult to tell with this one, pictures are not the best.

That foot pedal is a gem!
Maybe it was fitted in Australia?

I'm no expert but had similar thoughts about the Cooper S. No brackets for boot board, control box in wrong place etc. Perhaps someone with more knowledge could educate use?

I agree, it looks like a MK2 Mini that has had a log book swap.
That said, it looks like a very good shell & would make a lovely Er . . . MK2 Cooper S when its done.

the current owner has mostly likely been told he has crispy fingers after buying it
hence the sale, if one goes to the bother of getting the car to the uk, you would have thought it would be for keeps.

This means i will never be able to park my car and leave it unoccupied ever again, for fear of the badge been stolen from the boot lid.

Messaged seller of the Cooper S yesterday to query it's authenticity and arrange to view today subject to it being a genuine S and got no response, so maybe it's not quite as described????

Whoever bought that has more money than sense, there may not be many of them about but the quality isn't top of the list from the look of the shots?
Absolute madness.

Just a quick heads up. If anyone wants to buy an absolutely genuine original Downton badge complete with a life time return to seller warranty for £500 I will be happy to sell one of mine.

Those TW models are quite rough, but that Unipower looks like a real bad one. I had to look twice, because I thought that it was the wrong body. That will take a lot of work to make it look even slightly correct.Pete wrote:WTF!

Doesn't even look a nice model!
