We quite liked that Aqua Mk1 , it's a '64 Manchester registered car ( I had 4769 VU which was an early 998 Cooper) and the geezer that owned it drove it up from I.O.W. Purists would frown at its Mk2 doors, Mk2 rear quarter lights , Mk2 boot lid and it's later colour ( outside) but it had a personality!

The media do get obsessed with reporting peoples misfortune, especially if they have conections with the powers that be

Some great pictures there Stuart as always - Thanks for brightening up the day :)
Love to see the "Westy" racing. A gent in the next road to us bought one new when we (and many others) didn't even HAVE a car. It seemed a thing of dreams to us 8-) .

MUST try and go next year.

Hi Pete, great bunch of picys, reminded me of what a great day it was, my wife and I spent the weekend down at Combe and had the most enjoyable day of motorsport for a long time, such a friendly atmosphere, everything accessible, much less stuffy than some classic events. already booked the hotel for next year.
Jeroen told me to look you out, saw your Unipower but you were deep in conversation so went back to Tower and enjoyed every minute.

cheers
Ian
