ROI?

I reckoned there was some meat in them at £80 each, so it turns out I wasn't far from the mark.

My original question still remains unanswered though, is a Vortz casting of unknown quality, that has been machined by A N Other, a Vortz wheel, and are these any more "desirable" than the die cast MS ones?

Not to me they aren't.

Thanks Al.

Republic of Ireland was all I could think of :)

I reckon there is about £50 / wheel in machining costs and call it another £10 finishing as even if the buyer buys all 70 its only a tiny batch. That makes a manufacturing cost of around £160 / wheel. meaning a minimum reasonable selling price of £280 per wheel for a wheel of unknown pedigree.

IMHO Someone needs their bumps feeling.

Fake / repro Shorrock Badge, now up to £64 and still going.

I could get these made for about £3 each for a reasonable batch size. Some people are so stupid!

I have done a batch of those in the past. I could certainly get some more done.

They are not incredibly cheap, but are superb quality.

Downton Pins,
They are a new made item. Nothing to do with any of the incarnations of Downton.

I have a similar one on ebay at the mo, at least mine are copies of the originals.
