Just seen George Shackleton's shunt again on Motors TV, hadn't realised he'd hit the wall on the outside of the pit straight aswell as hitting the pit wall!

It also looked quite close with David as he's the car that goes up the inside when George comes back across the circuit, hopefully he's OK, but I'm sure he's very sore from that impact

[quote="Jamie"]I went Saturday and Sunday had a great time, as has been said the St Mary's trophy races were both brilliant, Swiftys duel with the Alfa was the main entertainment.

"I got a few pics on the phone.."

Shouldn't mobile phones be confiscated and banned. Note lady sat next to Swifty's car!

will try to post some of mine later, but didn't take many due to camera battery issues

What I can confirm however is that the weather was great until the Sunday night, when it absolutely poured down. It also rained heavily INSIDE the 1965 Chateaumobile trailer tent we had towed down behind the Austin A40, despite the canvas top having been treated with waterproofing stuff. VERY soggy and miserable night.........

Apart from that, a great weekend.

Hear hear, I had my phone with me of course when I've been there, but only for emergencies. There's waaaay too much to see and do without having a phone / iPad etc in your hand.

Can't be worse than the 'Motors TV' coverage, their commentary team can make a Kardashian sex tape sound boring!

Goodwood's own live commentary is unbeatable. 8-)

Paul O'Neill was great as were the bike team on Motors, but Bob 'constantdross'...really is awful....I can't fathom why they don't just use Marcus Pye's commentary which appears on the Live Stream??
