I've got a few of these all 106/2, one to go onto my Mini, but there are two different types of fitting for the cables.
Did the Mk1 have the tightening screws or the push connectors on the unit?

Nope got one 59 and 66 both screw. Another 66 thats is push on. The one in the worst condition is gonna be the right one.Andrew1967 wrote:Push on Matt![]()
Check the dates on the boxes. The screw type will probably be 50's.

Edited my last post Matt, but probably Lucas were still making screw type in the 60's although many cars were over to push fit by then.

All Minis were fitted with Push fit control boxes. There is nothing however to stop a screw fit being used as a replacement.
