Does anyone know what the cable lengths are for the
original twin cable setup?
Didn't the vans/estates have longer ones?
Is the cable guide that's spot-welded to the subframe different
on the centre-pull version to what it was on the twin setup?
I am toying wit the idea of making a hybrid setup for my Marcos...
A centre-pull type rear linking cable, but with TWO cables at the front
so I can retain the original type handbrake lever.
Why?
It might be possible to use all standard length cables by fabricating
a longer connection yoke between the front cables and the linked rear
one.... and using two cables at the front means that I would not have
to try to bore yet another hole through the prop-tunnel (at probably the
wrong angle...).

Re: Handbrake Cables
Ian, in the twin cable set ups, there were a few lengths to toy with;-
MKI Mini
Van / Estate / Pick-up (as you've mentioned)
Mini Moke (the one on 10" wheels)
Moke (the one on 13" wheels)
I'll see what I have to measure.
