Team Broadspeed racers

Post by minitravellerman »

Just wondering if anyone has any good detailed photos of the Team Broadspeed racers? I'm curious as to interior layouts, dash etc.
I've been thinking over the last few days about a potential project and would love to build a fairly decent look-a-like with perhaps my own take on it, as opposed to building an exact replica.

Also does anyone know if they were all Morris Ss or a mix of Morris and Austin were raced by Broadspeed.

I did send mark a raft of Broadspeed pictures (Morris and Austin) which are on the main site, worth a butchers if you're looking for pictures. I do have high res versions if you need any.

Sorry folks - another question that I'm sure has been asked already on this forum (I maybe even asked it myself!), but does anyone know the colours that Broadspeed used?

I remember hearing Aston Martin Dubonet Red with Rolls Royce Silver roof?

**edit**

Nevermind - did a search;

Rolls Royce regal red and silver grey from ICI

All the racecars used the Tachopod Broadspeed had on the RH upper dash rail and Les leston steering wheelds as an answer to you earlier question.
