Hi Pete
Just freed up Monday amazing!! so will make trip up to OP to see you and Will (if he has recovered from Silverstone roll)
Not having been there as a spectator since 1963!!! where is the best place to try to park Mainsite or Knickerbrook and walk ??
Any advice from anyone welcome.

Hi Trev.look forward to seeing you at Oulton. Speccy wise I would be tempted to use either the main entrance to park on the infield or Eastgate entrance which will bring you to the outside of the start finish straight where you can access the infield via the bridge. We'll be overlooking Cascades near the Foggerty Centre. We should all meet up at Tim's at lunch maybe?

Just had an email from MSV (nothing like a bit of forward planning!!!) and general public cannot access the circuit via the main entrance! You will need to use Eastgate or Knickerbrook. All display cars use main entrance us normal BUT I have no idea where we'll be as it will be a first come 'first served' arrangement - ie a free for all (MSV strikes again) I'll take an MCR sail flag so just look out for us somewhere near Cascades ?!!

Nothings changed then Pete, turn up and guess, at least they look after the cars that race a it better. See you on Monday unless my car bites me over the weekend.

Sorry to hear that Pete, hope all is now OK...thank you for organising...bit of a wet one, but great to see a Mini win the first race. Couldn't stay after 2pm sadly as needed to be home...but looked a good afternoon in the offing.

To the chap in the steel traveller, it was me in the Orange GT :) ...sorry I didn't catch your name

I've put a few pics up on flickr that I took on my iphone from Monday, just from the paddock, only a few, Well done to Jon Milicevic (bloody nice chap !), Holding the Cortinas off in the first race, good to see Tim (even though his weekend didn't quite go to plan with a shortage of quality rubber) and also put a few more faces to names that we met on the day !, Good turn out of Minis, just a shame the rest of the races on Monday are pretty much Single Seaters. Stood with Stu (surf) for a bit so im sure his cracking pics will be coming thru soon !

Yes sorry I didn't make it, life's pretty unpredictable for me at the best of times at the moment. Thanks to all those that did make the effort, hope you had a decent day's sport. (and yes I agree about too many single seaters on Monday Steve!). Great win by Milicevic and looks like Andy and Tim had a good battle in the 2nd race!
